tonight, the first award will go to greg johnson and his colleagues of buzz feed for their story titledrds and a war without end this is the riveting piece of journalism and looking back at the power that congress gave president bush after 9/11. it was called the most dangerous sentence of u.s. history it is still being used today described not only the president's power and force about the power of force that he uses for today so greg johnson buzz feed for the dirksen award. congratulations. [applause] thanks. every award is special. this one is particularly for me, it recognizes the piece that i wrote, the first piece that i wrote for buzz feed as the michael hastings national security fellow and michael, as many of us in the room know was attend arabous reporter. one of the things that i loved about michael was just how skeptical that he was. he did not trust those in power because they spoke articulately. and eloquently. and wore the types of suits that you typically wear. i think that is something that is certainly a reminer to me and a reminer to all of us president obama. and con
