we're joined by judge greg mathis, host of "judge mathis" now in its 16th season.udge, great to have you here. >> thanks for having me. >> now that the full picture has come to light of what happened inside that elevator, can't police charge him with a crime and can't he get some sort of jail sentence? >> unfortunately, state police cannot. the only way i can see that happening is if they feel that that is a violation of the deferred sentence that he received. and i'm not sure how they could do that. i haven't seen the sentence. but he could be prosecuted on the federal level if they could find a nexus. >> but you're saying that state police cannot charge him because he already agreed to this diversionary program, whereby what? he takes some anger management classes instead of going to jail? >> that's my understanding of it. and i think it may be a probationary period or community service of some sort. but yeah, it's been adjudicated. it's been adjudicated. >> but it hasn't really been adjudicated because he basically -- he doesn't ever have to serve any jail time.
