president, you have a quorum and also with us tonight is the chief of police, gregory suhr. >> and thank you very much, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the wednesday, may 7th, san francisco police commission meeting, and ladies and gentlemen, we have a very full agenda this evening, with several items including consent calendar and matters we have to deal with at the end of the calendar in closed session and family members here regarding some incidents here in the city, without further adieu, before i start that i should welcome tonight, our newest commissioner, and ask him to stay a few words, victor wong is our newest commissioner and he brings a wealth of experience with reference to criminal justice and social justice, and commissioner wong who lives here in san francisco with his wife and children, started his career early on as a lawyer and assistant public defender in los angeles county where he served for four years and from there he moved on and worked as a civil rights attorney with the asian law caucus here in san francisco and with another civil rights organization, the apsx
