it reminds me yesterday i think was the 45th anniversary of the watergate break-in, gretchen. you remember the nixon tapes were ruled to be nixon's property even though they were seized after his death. i wonder if that's going through donald trump's mind with some of this. but i think the bigger issue right now, we have a lot of shades of gray, a lot of opaqueness in what is happening around the president. we know that he is centrally obsessed with the issue of whether he is under investigation or not to the degree that he tweeted about it. he then later tweeted, which caused his lawyer some problems, that he was under investigation. even though his lawyer said he was not. so the president is obsessed with this issue. he is worried. and he's behaving like a worried person. >> michael, the senate voted last week to impose sanctions on iran and also russia. that's got to go over to the house side and get a vote. there's some question whether speaker ryan is going to call it up for a vote or not. some may even think he's trying to carry water to slow things down so the president
