the labor force -- if we don't change immigration law and allow for immigrants in the country, the grocece of people who are willing and able to work, that will grow very slowly so that it's impossible to create that many jobs. >> he said it would grow at 3.5% rate. then he said his goal is 4.8%. are those figures possible or likely? >> they're not likely. gdp output, the economy, however you want to label it, grows because we have workers. you can have growth in the number of workers. that will be slow. output per worker productivity. he needs a productivity boom of unprecedented proportions to get to those kinds of numbers. the places he is pointing to -- energy, i don't think so. i am a big critic of the obama administration's regulatory burden, but getting rid of that won't deliver a percentage point of growth. it's hard to make it add up especially when you add in the negatives, immigration and trade. he's going to try to make it add up and grow more rapidly. i give him points for that but the numbers are not there. >> mr. trump said today the fed is totally being controlled politic
