the mariposa grove of giant sequoias in yosemite is the largest sequoia grove in the national park withmature trees. the grove has been under restoration for three years. yosemite conservancy donors and the national park service each contributed 20-million-dollars for the restoration. there's a new boardwalk, reestablished the wetlands and a new welcome plaza.
