south bay, not much roadwork to speak of so overall we are doing pretty well including up the guadalupeming out of downtown san jose, traffic still very light. you can see a couple of headlights there approaching the 880 on the change. and better news now for this overnight accident. westbound 580 at airway boulevard the on-ramp was shut down for a little while. it happened around 3:30 where there was a gravel spill. in the last few minutes all lanes reopened. westbound 237 the silicon valley ride, nice and quiet this morning. they should have wrapped up some roadwork in sunnyvale. so now things look good as you leave 880 towards 101. the san mateo bridge, we'll show you a live look at one of our other bridges across the bay area. westbound 92 a 13-minute drive no issues across the san mateo bridge. looks great out towards the high-rise. if you are coming into hayward they were doing some overnight roadwork near the 880-92 interchange, should have been picked up by now. bart, ace, muni and caltrain all on time. remember kcbs once you do hit the roads. they're our radio partners. and you

guadalupe parkway, 101, overall looking good this morning if you are heading out of downtown. jose there is live look at conditions on northbound 280 out of downtown. there is a ramp closure in the south bay. the southbound 101 ramp to southbound 880 full ramp closure until about 6:00 this morning. and then hopefully they will pick up the cones. elsewhere, if you are commuting into san francisco, here's live look near bayshore, third and bayshore. everything is nice and quiet all the way up downtown, 101, 280, although you will find some foggy stretches including across the golden gate bridge. i am going to try to show you this here. 101 traffic looks okay right now. they picked up the roadwork on southbound 101 through marin. you can see fog there. also stretches 1 portions of pacifica, daly city, they were doing roadwork near the north tower and along stretches of doyle drive but everything is now gone. so free-flowing except for areas of low visibility this morning heading into the city. san mateo bridge quiet, as well. the dublin interchange, here's live look at westbound

the light traffic sensors are picking up top speeds pretty much everywhere you go up and down the guadalupewn downtown san jose. it looks great. in the northbound lanes of 280. the peninsula drive is problem-free as well. the bridges, this is a live look at the san mateo bridge, westbound 92 in the commute direction. and so far we have been problem-free here. and 13 minutes is your drive out of hayward heading toward the highrise and out toward foster city. it looks pretty good. at the bay bridge, we went ahead and turned the metering lights on. so you are stacked up in pretty much all lanes. you're jammed from at least the west grand overcrossing and the delays continue to grow and slow up toward the incline toward treasure island and the drive time toward the east shore freeway, 24 minutes from the carquinez bridge to the maze. of course we have been continuing to follow this fatal accident that happened in sunnyvale. it happened about two hours ago now. i know we have some live pictures to show you from the scene. right now, the southbound lanes of matilda avenue remain shut down. right
