it came ashore last night in dominica came close to guadalupe now the eye is pushing away from guadalupean juan puerto rico where it looks like it will arrive as a category five or four, prowl right through puerto rico -- plow right through puerto rico and degenerate into a three but that's still a major hurricane pulling away from the turks and caicos and heading up towards the east coast of the u.s. a lot of questions about the long range future of that. sometime next week we'll have more clarification but keep your eyes on maria. 77 degrees breezy and damp today. not a lot of rain overall though. and then tomorrow some sun mixing with some clouds, a high of 85. might feel a little humid. not bad though for the arrival of rosh hashanah at sundown. warm and humid on thursday 86 and as we go into the coming weekend it stays warm. on friday, 84 degrees as autumn arrives. the first full weekend of autumn is going the feel like summer. this does sometimes happen. 85 degrees on saturday. 86 on sunday. and then 86 on monday with a thunderstorm. very nice stretch of weather coming once we can
