in fact, we're at the same location yesterday at the guadeloupe river around san fernando, and the water levels early this afternoon dropped. i don't know if you can hear the raindrops hitting the microphone. the water levels are starting to come up again. that is one of the things we're watching at the river forecast center is expecting for the river levels to rise between now and 9:00 tomorrow morning, back up another 3 1/2 to 4 feet which would bring the water level up to where my knees are now, possibly up to bankful as you approach santa clara street as the rains continue to intensify. you pinpointed it a moment ago, heavy rain coming into san jose. its dumping now. as the rains continue the feed in to the santa cruz mountains and the creeks spill the water out to the guadeloupe we'll see these levels rise as we go through tonight into tomorrow morning, watching that rain fall heavy at times in the south bay. >> the other thing we're going to track is the snowfall up across the sierra. winter storm warning in place, we amped up the expected snow overall we could see from 2 to 4 feet
