i wanted to give an update on guerneville. this should continue to go down as we head through the next 48 hours. very, very tense moments, hours, as we headed through yesterday, just really something we haven't seen the likes of in decades for parts of the bay area. as you get a look at storm ranger doppler radar, i don't see any kind of damaging weather coming our way. we're going to start off on the chilly side, so you need the jacket. i think over the south bay, peninsula and tri valley we're starting out with clouds, but a system off to the north is going to bring us a few showers in san francisco and also the north bay. i get you a better look at that. at 8:30 in the morning we're tracking scattered showers as i mentioned from santa rosa to san francisco. and as we head through the afternoon, the best chance of rain would be through the north bay. this is nothing that would cause flooding problems for us. you can see on our rainfall accumulation. as we roll through tomorrow, temperatures across the south bay in the 60s, 6

rain forecast, you can see as we hit friday morning, 1:00 a.m., we've got rain consistent over guerneville. we're going to continue to see rain pushily, 5:00 a.m. friday over the north bay, east bay, peninsula, south bay. it will be pretty quick moving here and kick out about 10:00 a.m. on friday. rainfall totals with this on average about .5 to .75 inches for a lot of the bay area. north bay toward contra costa county county, alameda counties, a lot of the peninsula. rain shadowing going on for the southern peninsula and san jose, so the mountains are stealing a lot of the moisture, not leaving as much in san jose, .25 inches or less. rain shadow with that second storm down toward the south bay. beyond that, we are talking about that sunday storm system. and this is definitely going to have what's called an atmospheric river tap. it's a copious amount of moisture, some subtropical moisture that builds in the pacific. saturday night, we're starting to get that rainfall moving in here towards the bay area. then watch, there is that atmospheric river lining up right there. it's going to be p
