there in the pacific slowly making its way inland into our north bay valleys, specifically over guerneville out there right now. and primarily just centered over that northwest quadrant in the north bay. but for the rest of the bay area, it's going to be an overnight storm not set to arrive until very early sunday morning. we have a lot of moisture that we're tracking. so let's take a look at the highlights of what you can expect because we are going to see this storm continuing overnight even through wednesday, light scattered hit or miss showers tuesday through wednesday. little to no rain there. so the bulk of the moisture sunday into monday. that's when we're really going to get the bulk of our rain totals and our hills can get upwards of 3 inches of rain with most of our bay area valleys, anywhere for about a quarter of an inch to three-quarters of an inch of much needed rain. so this could be one for the record books because we're also going to track some pop-up thunderstorms that could bring us a brief, heavy downpours and also gusty winds with the threat of thunder and lightning. so
