leyla gulen mentioned, the southbound lane of i-5 have just re-opened but the wreckage is there on the highway northbound lanes, though, are closed. these pictures appeared after the crash. an 18-year-old on the bus involved in the crash now says that the inside of the bus was filled with smoke and 40 students on board the bus escaped through a back window that someone kicked open. it all happened in the bling of an eye. ten people were killed including both the drivers from the tour bus and the fedex truck. more than 30 were hurt, some were critical, many suffering from burns. the tour bus was toless an and full of high school students. >> we are saddened to hear about a tragedy that occurred in northern california involving students. these are students that were involved in a college trip on the way to humboldt university. >> investigators worked through the night at this point. authority know the fedex truck was traveling in the opposite direction of the bus, crossed the center divider, and sideswiped a white car and crashed head on into the bus. they are still trying to figure out,
