the good news is areas like florida and the gulf coast remain unscathed during the actual holiday weekend but that might not be the case when a lot of our friends are making that return trip home. as of yesterday we are looking at a cat 1 hurricane so it is officially a hurricane. winds right now at 75 miles per hour. it's moving to the west-northwest at 31 miles per hour situated just to the east-southeast of kingston, jamaica, there. take a look at this track. this is going to be a real game-changer. the first thing i want to note is the time stamp on this. by monday morning we're going to have a very clear picture how this is going to pan out and impact the florida coastline. that's because over the next couple of days what's going to happen is this hurricane is going to move over jamaica and cuba and we're talking mountainous range here so that could see strengthening there so that's something to watch for. as far as the cone of uncertainty goes, in the past 24 hours the biggest shift we have seen with this track is it has moved from the east side of florida to the west side. now we'r

rain and strong winds are bettering key west as tropical storm elsa makes its way up florida's gulf coast. right now maximum winds are around 50 miles per hour, but they could strengthen before the storm slams ashore early tomorrow. in addition to the rain, wind, outages, there is concern about flooding and storm surge of 3 to 5 feet. >>> and on the other side of the state, stormy conditions are impacting the search effort at the condo collapse site in surfside. the wind is causing trouble for crane operators and at one point lightning put everything on pause. still, searchers were able to recover another four victims today, bringing the official death toll to 36. more than 100 are still missing. >>> as biden says if americans won't come get there covid shots, he'll bring the vaccine to them. >> we are sending out more mobile clinic units out there to help people at special events, summer festivals, sporting events, as well as places of worship, wherever we can find people gathered. >> this is the delta variant spreads nationwide. cases are up by double digits in some parts of the country

heavy rain that we have down towards the south and a live the showers continued right across the gulf coast. much of the deep south seeing some very heavy right. and of course, elsa will make his presence felt as we go on for tuesday, wednesday on into thursday for tuesday, some heavy rain that just around the plains towards the midwest thinking a little further south was as we go on through wednesday, that'll ease over towards new england towards new york to that eastern side of kind of it comes out. so that'll run across the panhandle and push up towards the carolinas. over the next few days, it already brought some very heavy writing across jamaica. now, making his way towards that western side of cuba to make a sing $909.00 millimeters of rain in only $24.00 as $88.00 millimeters of that fell in the space of only 6 hours. that is a round twice the july average rainfall. wet weather will continue to make his way across western cuba, and up across the proto keys, the across the world, young activated and organized around the movie today, we do the work that heard in the 1st of a new serie
