this morning the gw law school brought together clerks associated with gw, former store and students and current faculty. one of the clerks talked about how her clerkship taught her how the justices and clerks can disagree without being disagreeable. they can have substantive debates about important constitutional matters without dissending into partisanship without descending into partisanship. that is why it is inspiring our panel brings together clerks from different justices with different views from different years to share their experiences and to respectfully engage in civil dialogue which is the essence of the american experience. we have three panels. the first is about people's experience during the clerkship. the second is about life after the clerkship. and the third is a wonderful opportunity to hear from two of america's greatest judges about their experiences clerking on the court influence the way they interpret the constitution and the way they approach their role as judges. and we have a remarkable first panel will be ably moderated by the chair of the supreme court
