i'm brian hackney. >> and i'm ann notarangelo. 49ers are about to touch down at san jose's airport. this is the scene at the private charter jet terminal where the 49 49 plane should be pulling up any minute. brian webb is just down the road and fans are lined up there waiting for the team's victorious return. >> reporter: we're awaiting the team's arrival here. check it out in the parking lot, a couple dozen of their favorite fans. good looking group, huh. they have been waiting here probably about an hour. you know what happens when the team arrives, they come past the fence, all the way down the parking lot down here behind the fence, and that's when they pick up their cars. when they leave the gate right here that's the best chance the fans have to get up close and personal with their favorite players. so the moral, the extended family, adults and still decked out in their 49er gear from head to toe, hoping to catch a glimpse of the players or chat with them. they already have several of the players autographs transferred to tattoos on his arm. coach harbaugh, just to name a few

meteorologist brian hackney has the results of the pretty bleak first snow survey. brian. >> bleak and weather seem to be going together these days and that is true as regards the snow survey. first time of the winter season they went out and had a look just south of lake tahoe. a lot of bare patches on the ground and in fact it was hard to find a place to actually measure the snow. mostly electronic and water content readings showed it's just 20% of average. it's the lowest on record. actually it ties january 2012 as being the lowest on record at this point in the season. and at this rated it estimates it will only be able to deliver 5% of the water that is requested by 29 public agencies if things continue to go as it looks right now which is not good. it's not a surprise that this is all in lockstep with the amount of rain we have gotten back in the bay area, which shows totals to be about a fifth of average and, you know, the rain translates to the snow up top and so there's no big discrepancy there. so, low rainfall, low snow, and yet maybe a few little chinks
meteorologist brian hackney has the results of the pretty bleak first snow survey. brian. >> bleak and weather seem to be going together these days and that is true as regards the snow survey. first time of the winter season they went out and had a look just south of lake tahoe. a lot of bare patches on the ground and in fact it was hard to find a place to actually measure the snow. mostly electronic and water content readings showed it's just 20% of average. it's the lowest on record....
