hagerstown is a mild 58 degrees. that will change as the evening goes on and get even cooler, about 10 degrees cooler. winds out of the north at 5-10 miles an hour. we are not out of the woods yet with the cool weather, but almost. current weather shows that band of showers extending through western and central pennsylvania. as we extend out, we will see why, the approaching warm front that will move into the area sometime tomorrow afternoon into monday. the next system and will most likely bring us start to whether monday, definitely tuesday our best chance, and then ending on wednesday. the beginning of the week does not look too good. as we head into monday, about 7:00 in the evening the showers really start moving in, and heading into tuesday we see this whole band moving in. that is the best chance to soaker.get a sobe there is a flood warning because they are opening the gates down on the conowingo dam. the flood stage is 23.5 feet, and they are at 24.7 feet, so there should be some minor flooding in some areas

delightful spring breeze out there. 29.96 is the barometer reading. 57 in oakland. 63 in cumber lan. 65 hagerstown and on the shore temperatures approaching 70. we have 68 in patuxent river and ocean city. everyone else is in the mid-60s going into the early friday afternoon. so these winds are coming in from the south and southwest. you know what that means, it brings in warmer air when the winds are coming in from that direction. so he, we are going to be going up through the afternoon. we will be tapping into temperatures that are pretty moderate although in the immediate area, here, up and down the mid atlantic we are the warmest spot in maryland. # 6 in atlanta and -- 66 in atlanta and the mild temperatures are all around us. so we are not going to change not going to fluctuate too much in the temperatures. we are watching is a very weak frontal bondry that will move on through here with parts of the energy here late tonight and into late this afternoon and into tonight. it's going to bring through some chances of showers and maybe thunderstorms. widely scattered. see how broken up it is. and

and just scooting around hagerstown at this point.o we'll switch it over and show you what has been going on. a very unsettled weather pattern. but the thing is, not all-day rain events here. now, the clouds are building up. they are drifting by. but these will eventually die down. then what we're going to look at, these winds starting to die down also. tonight, as far as temperatures go, we had a beautiful afternoon, temperature-wise. still 70 degrees in baltimore. 68 in d.c. and so far, we did top out at 71 degrees. right on par with our average. but we're going to drop down to the 50s overnight. as a lot of those averages do start to die down. but this storm track is still on top of us. and there are a few more pieces of energy lined top come in our direction. today, just one round. and tomorrow, another round moves in our direction. you can see very widespread. not everybody getting it. but the chance for a couple of showers tomorrow. again, not an all-day rain event. just the chance out there. then, what happens. and another one

but hagerstown, your visibility is two and a half miles. martinsburg, four miles. three miles. you can see around d.c., we're just fine but around leesburg down to three miles. you may encounter some fog as you're heading out this morning. here is a look at the satellite radar. we're going to get some of this action late this afternoon starting from the west of 81 and then it will impact the district by this evening. here is a look at the highs for today. before the storms come in, 83 downtown. it will be a nice, warm day.

could get close to the dew point temperatures tonight and that means we'll cool off quickly. 47 in hagerstownas, west virginia. the high today in pittsburgh was only 51 degrees and that cool air is settling in now. so 6:00 a.m. tomorrow morning, i think we'll see some sunshine as the sun will rise just after 6:00. temperatures around 48 degrees by 9:00, and by noon, that's when the jackets will start to come off with a temperature close to 60 degrees. we'll see plenty of sunshine tomorrow. a few clouds from time to time, but thursday is looking like a much nicer day than we had today. the rain that we had today is well off to the east, a few showers as an area of low pressure right in here continues to make its way across our reasonable. those showers have died off now and now we have high pressure that's moving on in. the cool air is going to stick in only for about the next 12 hours, but by tomorrow afternoon, it will move to the north and east. we'll see plenty of sunshine. temperatures a little below average during the day tomorrow but right back where we should be this time of year by th
