locally we've got one cell up by hagerstown. most activity towards the west. see anything across dc and baltimore metropolitan areas, there's been a little bit of lightening over bonesboro, this is up by 70 towards hagerstown, almost out of our region. northern maryland this is the area we would see the cell moving due east, places like theirmont, johnsville and into middleberg as it moves from west to east, basically along the i 70 corridor. flash flood watch watch is out for all of the dc, anne arundel county, baltimore county, central pourings of virginia, these storms bring steady downpours. of severe thunderstorm watch until 8:00 p.m. we're still concerned with the front in place that if we get enough energy as the showers and storms move in with the heat to produce severe weather, and futurecast says 8:00 p.m., the air mass cuts into the heat and humidity boiling all day. you can generate some of these strong storms. while heavy rain is our primary concern, is absolutely pouring over washington as well as along the chesapeake over into the eastern shore.
