great march of the time because it's a date that connects palestinians everywhere whether they be in haifain or in gaza or even in exile but a year on what have the great march of return protests achieved for palestinians. well i think in the beginning they were a source of great inspiration to see such mass mobilization. and such bravery and courage from from so many people in gaza with something really inspiring to see in a lot of palestinians proud and connected certainly at the beginning there was a lot of responses from palestinians in the milan and they were organized campaigns and protests in support of their brothers and sisters but i think now it's really become a manifestation of despair we have one year on hundreds of palestinians have been shot dead in cold blood thousands and thousands have been injured and the situation in gaza has not gotten better that's actually getting worse the siege is continuing now it's a twelve years and it goes there has been occupied for over fifty so actually i think now there is a great deal of desperation and despair right a long term cease fire
