that looks like fall in haight-ashbury district. what we are definitely looking at one of those days today that's bringing the sunshine. but you know how it is sometimes those sunny days can be the chris been brisk winds, golden gate bridge. one of those areas that saw some really strong winds last night, 40 to 50 mile per hour gusts as relaxed a little bit. now we did see showers over the weekend, not as much for the bay as the surrounding region, though, specially the central coast up into the central sierra. these areas quite a lot of precip and will again with our next system that is going to have that exact same nature as the previous one. that means a little less for us in the bay and more for neighbors that actually really need that rain further to the south winds days. the one to watch this one is going to be bringing some pretty solid showers down along the central coast up into the sierra specially south of tahoe. all in all, you can see the bay-area going to be missing out on a direct hit of moisture here. that means our

i'm also an active member of my neighborhood association the haight-ashbury neighborhood council, the united democratic club and i'm a regular attendee of meetings here at city hall and want to make it a priority to learn as much as i can so i bring back valuable insights to the groups i'm involved with and readers of my blog. i have more here on the ordinance. >> san francisco shines the way with its sunshine ordinance which both implements and expands on the california public records act and the brown act. >> it's not to say we have a perfect system the law was last minute by voters in 1999 so there is room for improvement to help our city shine brighter. there are reforms that we can and likely should undertake to make the system more efficient, less burdensome on city staff and more accountable to the people. should i have the privilege of being appointed to the task force? i look forward to working with the other members of the task force to advise the board of supervisors and city bodies on the sunshine ordinances implementation and on amendments to this ordinance. i believe on

planning is up zoning haight-ashbury, the lower haight, ocean avenue, the castro and every single parcel and the post triangle and much more. >> i live in an edwardian building from the 1880s and most triangle why would that parcel be up zone unless the planning department is inviting developers to demolish the building, build a tower in its place? the planning staff person that said the planning department does not have staff and capabilities to go parcel by parcel with regard to zoning or intend to set up zone everything and elevate the historic status of selected buildings. that comment does not make any sense. number one elevating historic status buildings is much more labor intensive than just leaving parcels out of zoning plan to begin with. number two just because a building is designated as historic doesn't mean the building is protected from nimby developers and billionaires. the historic mccloskey building at 1687 market street is slated for demolition by developer randall klein and billionaire mary minor. and number three it's really easy and not all time consuming to go parce
