miss hale. >> regulatory update. focusing on the activities at the california public utilities commission around the green tariff proceeding, where pg&e has proposed to implement a program allowing customers -- electric customers to choose to join tariff programs that relies on a greener resource portfolio. the administrative law judge recently asked pg&e to sponsor a witness to answer questions about the community renewables program aspectful their green tariff offering. this is where -- this is the part of the program that would allow customers to subscribe to a specific project in their community; that is less than 3 megawatts in size as opposed to the original offering to subscribe to a portfolio of resources. this is an aspect of the program that pg&e was instructed through sbe 43 to include in their offering. it's an aspects of the program that we have been very supportive of and have offered to present expert witnesses on how that program would work. we're very interested in being able to utilize that aspect o

hale had up about hetch hetchy power, showed basically a net zero gain to san francisco. there are potentially other gains to the city and county of san francisco and that's one of the issues of the rfp is to look at both in terms of jobs and impacts to the economy. and i will also say that even within our own cleanpowersf program right now, some of those costs are discretionary in terms of local buildout. so, what we were looking for if our consultant is to talk to us a little about given the new financing projections from sfpuc, what kinds of rate structure could we look at in terms of dealing with hetch hetchy purchases that might provide zero or potentially some positive numbers. so, the important dates of the rfp was posted on february 20th. we will have a pre-proposal conference on march 12th. and the due date is march 27th. on term of the tasks, we don't yet have dates about when tasks are due because that will be a result of the proposals that we received from the consultants. some of our tasks are more timely than others and we will have a schedule of completion

the issue that was brought up earlier during miss hale's presentation which is the shell contract was critcized by public utilities commission and members of labor and one of the tasks was to make an assessment of whether or not sfpuc's staff was capable of running the program? and in addition, they were also looking at the alternative, another service provider, could be shell or anyone. the other more generic tasks, but the first task that we would have our consultant go forward is that initial task of making an assessment about how should the project go forward in terms of do we contract with another energy service provider? or can the sfpuc provide those servicesin the second part of that critical question is also whether or not there is any economies of scale with that? meaning that we understand and we were told at the joint meeting that there is obvious a budget problem with the sfpuc and whether or not by implementing a program like this, you could gain any economies of scale? is there a source of revenue here that would in terms of administrative piece actually assist you in d
