we just had a gust of nearly 50 miles per hour here up in halifax, nearly 73 miles per hour.almost hurricane strength, even though we're not discussing it as a hurricane anymore, regardless. the impacts will feel substantial. well over 100,000 people are out of power, with the peninsula. power companies cannot get out until this wind dies down and that's not going to happen until well into tomorrow. the potential for landfall is very, very intense as the wind kicks up. we may get a landfall here in yarmouth or in this area, but depending on what lee does at this point or it may go into the bay of fundy which separates new brunswick, canada and nova scotia, regardless the impacts are significant, power outages are happening and as you can see, the swells are coming in over the rocky shores. here we go with wind kicking up here upwards to 50 miles per hour in yarmouth and i'm going to move a little bit, and i'm being safe and the camera is up above. this is what we're seeing and listen to this, you can hear as the water recedes, sounds like fireworks, and this is a big one, wil
