the christmas ham. volunteers are preparing and packing up 5400 ready made meals delivered to people this morning. >> the recipients of the meal are people who can't make it to a dining hall. >> some people with physical disabilities. >> there are those that don't have family and don't have a meal prepared for them. they may not have a kitchen. this is just a nice hot meal. makes it special for them during christmas day. >> now, it takes hundreds of volunteers to make the meals. >> some of the people you heard from, have been i doing for the last five years. >> they say they get together and do this as a family tradition every christmas morning. we can show you they are in the process of loading up the boxes of ready made meals. they are coming up and gets packed into the boxes and later on in the morning. a crew of another volunteers will take them out in the truck and hand deliver it to people who need them. they have 2,000 of the meals ready and packed up. >> stay with ktvu this christmas day. our ph
