this was the scene just a little while ago in hamden.'s take a look at this visual picture from hamden. there you go. that's hamden, just a little while ago. and a live look outside right now. it is expected, this snow, to continue, to get worse as the evening progresses. there's our live picture. we're live with complete first warning weather coverage. meteorologist tim williams is in the outback. but we're going to begin with bob turk. >> as you mentioned, we had very light snow. in the next couple of hours, temperatures are down to freezing, most places. and the snow is going to really pick up in intensity. in fact, down to the south of us, very heavy echoes showing up. and some of these could bring us two to as much as three inches of snow in one hour. and that's going to really boost the snow totals to amazing amounts by tomorrow morning. the heaviest of this activity will be later tonight. let's say from about 9:00, to 3:00 or 4:00 in the morning, side evening -- saturday evening into the morning hours. it begins to taper off later
