things in east hampton new york in the hampton new york getting heated this week and has nothing to doe weather. numerous celebrities up in arms after new taxi licensing laws went into effect that require taxi companies to have a physical business address in town. that basically shut down the ride hailing out uber. dagen mcdowell joins us with more. dagen: the ride sharing service effectively banned in the summertime spots. talking about the ordinance is in play. uber has been operating for several summers getting local licenses. just recently the town started handing out tickets and giving misdemeanors to at least one a uber driver since the moral day. you are supposed to have a physical office there and be licensed in the town and then have a physical office. it is not out of the ordinary for east hampton to really crack down on anything that it thinks will hurt the bucolic nature of the town. it wanted to be like a quaint farm community and not usually. the superrich are out there. they like to throw their weight around. they would destroy the beach is potential if the town didn't c
