one of my favorites is dale haney who came to work at the white house as a gardener in 1972. he still works there today. i saw him at the south lawn this week, dale was on the south lawn that august day when the fords walked to the nixons to the helicopter when president nixon redesigns. dale had seen it all. he starts his day by watering plants in the oval office, he will go out and take care of the rose garden. of the president has a pet they will take care of the president's pet. i've never seen a happier public servant in my entire life than dale haney, a truly great public servant and great american and that house is populated with that kind of person that works behind the scenes and they are so proud to take care of this house. mrs. kennedy famously said the white house belongs to the american people. doesn't belong to the bidens or the trumps or obamas or harrises or the lincolns, belongs to the people watching this tonight and people like dale take care of that house every single day presidency to presidency. >> we will show you the people's voices gallery on this tou
