he has been charged with the abduction of hannah graham. en five weeks ago today in downtown charlottesville, and i spoke with an eyewitness who was the last person to remember seeing hannah, and this woman told me that she saw hannah under the arm of jesse matthew. and they were walking downtown. he is the last person seen with her. and police have charged her with that abduction. the state police have confirmed as well that jesse is linked -- there is a forensic link which links him to the case of morgan harrington. morgan was last seen in charlottesville five years ago yesterday. and her remains were found 100 days later. now the state police have yet to say that it's his dna. we picked out a stop and recognized here, it could be morgan's dna that was found on an object he had. we just don't know. but speculation is the fact that it's his dna. and that's important, because if it is his dna, well then we know he's linked to another rape and beating in northern virginia in 2005. because the police have already linked morgan's case with that

with the wait for answers in the disturbing discovery in the search for fairfax county native, hannah graham. search teams found human remains yesterday on abandoned property in albemarle county, virginia, and tests are under way to determine if the remains are those of graham. we'll go live to albemarle county for the latest developments. tom? >> scott, as we await those results out of richmond, there was a lot of activity near where these remains were found, even today. if you look behind me around the property of the albemarle county police department just outside the city of charlottesville, if you went down that road about eight miles, that's where these remains were found. the more you go down the road the more rural it gets. eventually you even lose the double yellow line in the mid feel the road and it becomes a very narrow road and gets very wooded, very out of the way. it was in that area where those remains were found yesterday. here is video of some of what went on today. we saw folks searching the area where the remains were found, searching through the leaves starting to fall h

well, let's go back to hannah graham. talk to you, brian, about the skeletal remains found in southern virginia and how long it might take for police to identify them. >> well, carol, we were told it would take a few days. experts have said everything from two days to identify the remains to maybe 14 days so it could come any time now. the most common refrain we've heard is that it could take anywhere from seven to 10 days. that would put it as possibly making an announcement tomorrow on saturday. possibly next tuesday, but they're being very, very careful. they kept the rest of the skeletal remains on the site for a few days so that they could just comb over every possible detail. they needed to go underneath the remains to see if dna had seeped into the soil. they had to test around the remains to see if there was any other trace of dna, so they're being extremely careful, carol. so we may not hear maybe for a few days. >> and joey, i'm just wondering. let's say police do identify these remains as hannah graham's, will
