"hannity" tonight a very special "hannity." we look back a a special career of one of washington's most respected lawmakers senator joe lieberman. as the connecticut senator prepares to close the book on his almost 25 years in congress we look back at the man who managed to friend both republicans and democrats alike. he leaves the senate at the end of this year and safe to say that the man who was al gore's running mate and later endorsed john mccain for president leaves, washington, with the respect of his colleagues and all the people that he served. before we welcome the senator let's take a quick look at how he got here. joe lieberman was born on february 24, 1942 in stanford, connecticut. yaled his law degree from yale in 1967. he women the connecticut cochairman in 1968 robert f. kennedy's presidential campaign. in 1970 elected to the connecticut state senate as a reform candidate and held the seat for five terms until he lost to a republican in 1980. after his teenure in the state senate he returned to his private legal
