and in doing that i interviewed a fellow by the name of db hardeman who was chief of staff to sam rayburn. and he gave me a great quote. he said he reminded them that the currency of politics and going to trial, here's the guy who changes his position every week or every month but every hour. and he also doesn't show any interest in government as you pointed out. i mean, if david lawrence was in the room with him, and he couldn't keep his word. i mean, for a professional politician where they rely on your word, they make agreements and of course the quicknessof events, as you know from your days at the white house . >> that's a great observation, i can't wait to see this book. i'll be interested when you come back here, thank you. >> to summarize his comments because you can't hear it, this gentleman is writing a book about 1960 presidential campaigns through the eyes of the stevenson organization and he makes two very critical points itches politicians have to be taken at their word and politicians have to know something about governing and a certain politician named donald trump doesn't
