they took us to harden park. we didn't know what it was. it was this facility and it had lines and you can see where people stationed a hit and we said we like this. and one day we started hitting golf and they said do you want to do this every saturday. and we said "can we." they said we're going to pick you up and do that. and we said who else wanted to join. we started calling up our buddies and they sad, brother, we don't play golf. and now we're sitting at the table and going, remember when you didn't play golf. and now all of us play golf and they gave us food from this place. they gave us great turkey burgers and pick us saturday and we have a bunch of kids and it's hard to see us crammed in this space because we want to hit. we have to pick out of a hat who is going to play. it would be nice to have another place because when you look at jay mar he's our smallest guy. there's so many kid and you go, there's jay mar because there's a hole when you see everybody. it would be great to have a budget space. when we come together, i love

being familiar with the first teas experience operation both at hardening park and visitation valley, we saw it a good fit to enhance our activities at the site and managing the course for all golfers. so in february 12 the commission approved the selection and authorizes staff to negotiate a lease with the first t for the course. the management of the course. one of the pirs things that first t did was set up a separate foundation. the dpoelden gate park foundation who would be team managing the course. they did this to ensure separation between harden park and this course where they'll manage for all golfers not just for their youth participants and that's something we felt was important to us as a department. the least you may recall was actually first present the lease before you now was first presented to the operations committee in fall of last year. there was a question if the first t that will be installed at the course requires approval. the department over the last few months has gone to the planning department and obtained both see kwent approval to make sure we're complyin

and since i've been in the first tea, i've got been to pebble beach and i have an internship at harden park and i work with great coworkers. everything at the golf course is amazing. i love learning the insides and outsides of golf and the program is great. i feel like if i didn't have the first tea i don't know where i would be honestly. the first tea -- they took me when i was young, i was 8 in the 4th grade. i didn't know anything else except from where i was from. mr. wesley would take all of us -- he would take us in his escalade and it showed his dedication. and we loved the game and i want us to have more spaces for kids so they can our experience that we had when we were younger. i feel like if the kids could have what we have, they can be better or just as good as us as people. they teach us life skills in a way that makes it fun and we learn a lesson every time we learn it. i feel like if we learn, if we have more space to learn, it makes everything better. it's like a psych many. it started with me and then now it's going with them and it's going to keep happening if we have more
