hat thing, we know that nixon invited the hard hats. so the hard hat rebellion was 200 construction workers who just beat to a pulp hundreds of kids and while the police just watched, and one of the things that infuriated the explosion he hard hats was john lindsey ordered all the new york city flags to be at half mast after kent state. and actually i interviewed a policeman in madison, wisconsin -- madison was the most violent of all the campuses, apparent level. worse than berkeley and cornell and clem ya. he said after kent state he and his colleague wentridge and told the kid wes got four and you got zero. he wasn't necessarily pro or -- nor would bill dyson, who didn't really -- told me he didn't understand wife we were n vietnam. but they were very much against the behavior and the anti-patriotism, which they foltz was not patriotic. where aim on questions, answering -- >> time for one more. >> i goods i just wanted to say i think it is important to remember that it took very, very little to provoke the fbi. i was a tax resister.

and i knew how hard he worked.t he could give us a good middle-class life because his dad was a factory worker and he was able to do we want to see an america. to keep going, to keep reaching, moved as high as your ambition is going to take you. i would like for us to have an economy that works for everyone. to grow the economy and create more jobs. i also want a more fair economy. because -- >> when you work hard, you should not be still in poverty at the end of the year. but if you are a minimum-wage worker, if you work full time minimum wage, you will make $15,000 per year. most of them have families to support. and i talked to a lot of these women. sometimes i will be in a cafÉ. sometimes i will be in a store. and i will just start talking to them. it is one of the most humbling experiences about being out there talking to people. it is that if you are open to it, folks will tell you what is on their mind and heart. i have met women who are working two jobs to support their kids. we need to raise the national m

it's hard. it's really hard to support a runner. it's stressful. so your job as a spectator is to destress the runner as much as possible. let him or her focus on the part. the party afterwards. so really do some homework and find what the best place are to go to eat afterwards, to get some good local drinks afterwards. but it's hard to be a spectator >> but you shouldn't be expecting to hang out with them before the race; be patient in that arena? . >> "patient" is a fantastic word. runners on their race weekend can be a little bit like a bride on their wedding weekend. they're anxious. they're needy, and they want things and be patient, the better a spectator you're going to be. >> jodi, one last question: any favorite marathons approaching people should check out? >> we were just talking about this. i would think the city of oaks marathon is really a solid one. you get to run right through the heart of downtown. then there's obviously the big ones you want to aim for, like the boston marathon, new york city marathon, chicago marathon. all of the
