the one in harford county is making its way across the bay and towards southern cecil and northern kentunties on the southern shore. it looks like a heavier shower trying to form down in parts of montgomery county down towards the d.c. beltway. these showers are in advance of a cold front that will drop the temperature and shift the winds. you will see that there is cool air coming out of eastern canada and out of new england. 50's and 60's this afternoon and low 80's @ in baltimore by contrast. once this turn to the north and northeast, temperatures should drop by about 10 degrees for tomorrow. 83 down in d.c.. 79 in westminster and york and lancaster. 79 in auburn pipe. there may be scattered charts in our region wednesday morning. clouds and a few showers overnight trip the winds shift to the north. right on our doorstep, this front is ready to come through and turn the winds at the airport. high pressure will push the cool air down. this area of low pressure that came up out of the gulf coast region is starting to push moisture in. the clouds are working their way out into virginia

you can see definitely to the north and east seeing some heavy rain in the -- it's cecil county area, harfordn that as we look at the lightning strikes not making their way far west where we are even the northeast extreme. it's not getting there, staying up in new jersey. that is where the storm has been moving slowly north and east out of our way. we do have a tornado watch from the delaware area till noon. also back toward new jersey the same. we had a severe thunderstorm warning in the southern part of new jersey and the flood watch around pennsylvania around the philadelphia area. seeing the moisture wrapping around it, that is bringing us the rain this morning. it will ease upbringing us showers and the water vapor imagery showing the moisture in the white areas green wrapping around the low. heavy downpours up the delaware and new jersey area. have travel plans up in the weekend direction. that will be the direction you probably won't be heading. for us shower chances not just right now but into the latter part tomorrow. temperatures are in the upper 50s to near 60 right now. it's going
