let's begin with harley davidson. the iconic motorcycle maker beating on the bottom line but revenue missing expectations. sales outlook for the year and the stock as you can see is getting whacked to the tune of nearly 9%. under armor is under pressure down by nearly 5%. the apparel maker meeting profit and revenue estimates, but the cells outlook is disappointing. the stock is still up about 23% this year. lockheed martin's profit dropping 6% because of lower military spending. they managed to top eps estimates, but revenue fell short. a common theme this season falling 5%. the stock today only down by about 3/10 of 1%. as we mentioned yesterday and continue to see today, one trend is emerging this season. companies missing sales estimates and one factor to blame here is the stronger dollar. era sizen is taking a look at how the dollar is impacting earnings. what have you seen in. >> the excuse du jour. every company with any presence overseas is feeling a hit. even under armor that has 12% of the sales abroad. thre

shares of harley davidson.us and the company is lowering its estimated growth rate for the full year for motorcycle shipments. it's citing competitive discounting among other things. that stock down by 5.7%. take a look at shares of under armour once more. the stock is down this morning. down by 4.5% because the guidance, while it's raising its own guidance not where the street had been anticipating. talking about how 2015 net revenue will come in at about they think $3.78 billion. slightly above the $3.67 billion that they had been guiding in the past. the street was already at $3.82 billion in terms of that revenue. >> blame it on the company or the analysts? >> look, for a hay-growth company, for a high-growth stock, you anticipate big numbers. what happened, the street was already expecting bigger numbers. the stock has been built up based on these higher numbers that the street had been anticipating. even though these are better than the street guidance analysts got ahead of themselves and the stock got ah

. >> harley-davidson is the top loser at the moment of the open. e is a brutality price form within motorcycles. harley is warning its sales growth isn't going to be 4% to 6% but more 2% to 4%. sales under a huge amount of pressure here in the united states in particular. harley down 8%. under armour. i don't know if you want to pick up that theme there. another company affected by the strength of the dollar. >> even though this company has only 12% total sales coming internationally, it's a huge source of strength. under armour stock has gone up 60% the last 12 months. it's been a moon shot higher priced for high expectations when it comes to earnings. revenues did disappoint for under armour. we saw double-digit revenue growth in a lot of segments like foot wear up 41%. apparel its biggest category up 21%. revenue of this company, $3.8 billion. it's a tiny fraction of the size of nike. everybody always looks at it in competition with the nikes, adidas. we'll talk to a citigroup analyst later in the show who says it is a buy. i'm reading reports th
