much risk can taken, but also because in the eu, even though there is a long process of trying to harmonize the laws between the different member states, there still are a lot of elements that impact entrepreneurship that still decided on the national level, meaning if you're an entrepreneur in the eu, you have 27 different systems to navigate and it's just harder than navigating one. so i'm sure i'll be criticize for some of the solutions that i propose in this. that's okay i'm not uncomfortable with that. i the status quo doesn't get criticized enough. it's very easy to look at a new legislative proposal and tear apart. what about the small, medium sized enterprises? isn't this going to be too expensive? you know, what about the unintended consequences? is this going to throw away the baby with the bathwater, strangle innovation and so on? i've heard these arguments almost irrespective of what proposal was on the table, but what we don't do enough appreciate how quickly our daily lives are changing, how quickly geopolitical relations are changing, how dramatic, impactful new waves of tech
