what do you think about wolf's prospects as he becomes the chief executive in harrisburg. >> any governor coming in recent history in pennsylvania, faces many of the same issues. tom wolf has a couple of things going in his favor. won by a huge landslide first elected governor to defeat an incumbent governor which is significant in harrisburg. he showed in his career and when he was in the rendell administration he can work with both parties. there's a fear among the public they are sick of gridlock. that has an affect on politicians, always we heard from congressman meehan, saying let's get things done. >> will the republicans work with wolf? >> wolf made a lot of problems, and he thinks of obama care which will make insurance companies upset. which can we do with pension and liquor privatization. he will exphiewn -- have to communicate. he doesn't have a cabinet secretary that he announced. this is january, when will we hear that, i'm concerned he's moving a little vo. >> vo -- slow. people who know him know he is a methodical person. once he gathers information he'll make the decision

there was an earlier snow shower out by harrisburg.ht still see a little pop of snow out by pottsville, maybe harrisburg but it's nothing that's strong enough that will hinder your travel. as we take a look outside we've got tranquil conditions at the airport. the camera not really rocking and rolling this morning because there's not much wind out there. have a couple of highlights to your forecast. we are going to see more clouds build through the day. even if we get some early sunshine and then tomorrow we have some rain down south and some snow across most of the region arriving at some point during the afternoon or evening and probably accumulating a little bit. we'll have more on all of that in just a minute. 30 degrees in philadelphia currently as you step outside. 27 wilmington, 29 in allentown, 31 in trenton and 33 degrees this morning in sea isle city. there's that cloud cover getting a little bit thicker out to the west of us. some early sunshine perhaps and then the clouds get thicker. here's a little bit of bits and pieces

you can see as we go farther to the west and harrisburg area, gettysburg reporting light snow and freezing rain and the movement is from southwest to northeast. it's moving in quickly so we expect to see the first rain drops in the city probably by 9:30 a.m. now the leading edge is not reaching the ground, but start getting a little bit farther to the west, west of harrisburg and that moisture is. as it moves in. we see a mix bag north and west, rain for the city. everybody going over to plain rain by lunchtime. that brief mix will occur between 9:00 and lunchtime for aerials north of the pennsylvania turnpike. there could slick spots out there, as well. that's the kind of moisture it appears if it is raining but it freezes on contact with freezing roads. it will go over to cold, plain rain with temperatures above freezing. the rain comes down heavy at times this afternoon. when i step back inside i'll time it out with future tracker 6. we have near record warm temperatures tomorrow and bone chilling bitter told stuff by thursday i'll show you that 2349 seven-day forecast in just a bit. ev
