one clock this afternoon, you can see the storms in harrisburg swinging to lehigh valley during the early afternoon showers. 2:00 starting to move in. lehigh valley by 2:30 in the afternoon. as we go into the middle afternoon hours, that's when we could see some severe weather start to take shape for the lehigh valley and then into the suburbs during the afternoon and evening commute. look at those storms, heavy downpours and possibly damaging winds. could see large hail. 6:30 this evening. leading edge moves into new jersey and central delaware and by 8:00 this evening, storms approaching the shore. things start to settle down at the lehigh valley and berks county. steamy day ahead. threat of clouds and storms this afternoon for philadelphia. suburbs, sunshine to start with. the clouds move in. downpours this afternoon. the potential for severe thunderstorms during the afternoon hours for the suburbs. as i mentioned. the lehigh valley will be first to see storms. 8:00 first thing this morning. 80 degrees at 8:00. 79 degrees not much cooler. warming right into the 80s. dry this morning, l

we have storms out west of pottstown and harrisburg. from a visual prospective it looks fine, the problem it's warm and humid this morning. 79 degrees in philadelphia. pretty rare we're at 79 at this point in the morning. the dewpoint has climbed to 73. anything over 70 is oppressive humidity and that's what you've got across the region at this hour. winds breezy, 13 miles per hour, but not much relief from the humidity. as we take a look at the rain issue, welling -- well it looks like through the morning and up until noon there's a scattered showers around not much of a problem. after 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m. we're on the look out for drenching showers and gusty thunderstorms building in from the north and west. the latest model run has this coming up through southern delaware and millville. it convergessed between 6:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m., the northern and western suburbs have some of this and heavy thunderstorm activity plowing through the i-95 corridor and that starts to get over to the coast by 9:00 p.m. and off the coast after
