and we completed the main demo on the bus ramps by completing the harrison overpass in the first week of may, so that is the end of our long closures and street closures there for the demolition. now it's just a lot of clean-up and processing of that material. with utility relocation package, good progress continues to be made with those. the natomis street sewer installation between free mount and first is completed, and the tie-in to the main sewer is in progress. water line snalmings is completed. -- installation is completed. and we anticipate that work, the natomis street utility relocation work being completed by the end of july. one of the other packages, 4.3 also good progress. we're working with sfwd on all the tie-ins and coronations of the water system there, anticipate completion at the end of august. 4.4 is water and sewer lines are in progress on natomis street between first and second. those water tie-ins will be done this week or next depending on scheduling with sfwd, and anticipated completion also in the end of august. 4.4 is natomis between first and second streets

harrison street -- a lot of residents live along harrison street. there are about 300 children that live between fulsome and the bay bridge. with the use of second street. and in increasing population of elderly folks. people moved into my building in 1991 and are retiring. any help that you can give for pedestrian safety. if there are any funds you are saving from bids that are lower than what was budgeted, if you could help us with painting in the stripes on the crosswalk, that will be great. harrison street is a little bit out of your purview, but the drivers -- once they get through some of the delays in construction traffic, they are shoving the gas pedal down, on their way up to the bay bridge. anything we can do to make the streets in my neighborhood, residential neighborhood, look a little less like freeways and more like residential streets would be appreciated. again, great job on the demolition, and thank you. >> that includes members of the public that wanted to address you on that item. director ford: ok. let's close public, and moving

january 2 of 2011, my brother charles harrison was murdered in the tenderloin in san francisco. today, i would like to speak on something that was stated in the chronicle, i believe by a spokesperson from the san francisco police department. i was told two weeks ago when i come before the public that i should have my information as accurate as possible so that when i say something, you know, it reflects accuracy. so i believe, since i am being asked to be held to that standard, that the police department should also be held to that standard. when you have somebody who says something more makes a statement to the public in "the chronicle ," they should make sure they have all their facts together so they are not painting an ugly picture out there about, you know, somebody's family. something else i wanted to talk about is that i have been watching the news lately and there has been a murder between a latino person and an asian person. they are using this person's tattoo. they have been advertising this on the news. they're using it to identify the person who was responsible. the

market street to catch a metro train to this hearing, i observed a mother walking her stroller across harrison street at main street legally and a car lurged around from main street and laid on the horn and was honking at this mother walking her baby stroller across the street. we have a horrible traffic congestion problem right now. and i hope that we're right that we can set a congestion charge on the island so that the noolings have the one vehicle -- folks that have the one vehicle per one unit choose public transits but i'm doubtful. in my neighborhood, the rincon area plan has a one parking space for every two units unless there is some mechanical parking. some buildings have a valet because they are built for fwolings lots of money and they can afford to pay for those services to go get their car. in my building, ookt half of the 288 units -- about half of the 288 residentses do not own cars. they walk. i want to put on the overhead why it is so important that folks use public transit. there is a lot of folks that get hurt in district 6 and we can't afford to lose for -- thank you. >> t
