harrisonburg. close to d.c. things are dry. we will watch for this rain moving to pittsburgh to head our way. predominately favors areas closer to baltimore than d.c.,b i'll show you what it looks like. 11:00 tonight, hagerstown looking at some of that rain. most of that will stay on the north side of town. you get a few light shower south of gaithersburg. moreso montgomery county in into prince george's county and anne arundel county. tomorrow morning we start off dry. in this heat and humidity, a few showers start to pop up farther west. fore to d.c. that chance rain around 4:00. this is the small side of the weather story as we head into tomorrow, that is when we start to feel the heat. a few more thunderstorms on to say. overnight lows down to 79 degrees around d.c. farther west we are still in the 70's. we do not get very much relief. an isolated thundershower. and then tomorrow we are up to 99 degrees. today we got stuck at 96 and the humidity was lower. tomorrow the humidity is back. with that we feel like 100 degrees at

a few showers closer to harrisonburg, stan and around d. c. do not see anything like that it into tuesday, some models want a few showers. i think we will stay partly cloudy. all that rain will favor areas over the west. wednesday it is a different story. this warm front is going to be lifting into the area. as it does, it brings back humidity and gives us a better chance of showers and thunderstorms to develop by midmorning and then they stick fornd, that chance, wednesday, thursday and friday. these temperatures tomorrow morning -- 69 in d.c. 67 for andrews. 64 in manassas. nice comfortable start and it is still hot later in the afternoon by the humidity is still down. not as breezy as today. 3, 4,5 miles an hour. the sunshine helping us up to 87 degrees p or tuesday, 88 that slim chance for rain. i think it stays farther west of d.c. by wednesday that is our best chance to pick up some showers. that will keep us in the 80's but it will feel more muggy. 90 degreeeat wave, temperatures back starting on thursday and we will hang onto them into

pockets of moderate rain from winchester south along i-81 down towards stanton and harrisonburg.the leading edge on interstate 66 just west manassas out here in northern fauquier county and that rain is moving on in. there's a little break in the action back here. this is our best chance to be try for the fireworks. as it's going now, it looks like this first wave of rain will be impacting the area between 2:00 and 5:00 or 6:00 this afternoon. here comes this first wave of maude roderate rain rushing on h but notice that little patch of dry weather there, not necessarily sunny but at least getting the rain stopped. that will get your hopes up just enough. as we get to 9:00 tonight, chances for more rain moving in. so it's going to be very touch and go here. last-minute call probably will be needed for the actual fireworks display. weather deteriorates after 9:00 or 10:00 tonight and we could have thunderstorms between midnight and 6:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. so some overnight rumbles are a real possibility. once we get the rain out of here after today, get ready for some heat. te
