itpeinth haan the ong family. harry spoke in the mission bay. been exceptionally stressful. she is looking forward to taking time away soon. ♪ one new yorker turned bay area resident pay tribute to firefighters today. phil lehman was born in new york but eventually moved to cupertino. he lives at the saratoga retirement community. for the last 10 years on 9/11, he has bagpipe for local firefighters. today, he played at seven fire stations, and for his friends. as part of a 9/11 tribute in san francisco, a group of volunteers packed over 200,000 meals for people in need. this morning in honor of national day of service and remembrance, more than 1000 people met at the palace of fine arts to pack meals to address the ongoing food crisis here in the bay area. >> it is incredibly inspiring and it reminds us we are one community, and when we help each other, nothing makes us feel better about what we can do to make a difference. dion: that is teamwork. all meals will be distributed by the san francisco food bank to individuals and families in need. s
