if it gets there, if harry reed a allow it is to get to the floor of the senate it's a no go in that way. why would republicans want to do this past the 2014 elections? >> this is real-life experience for folks. they've got their own health care needs. they're seeing these premiums jump two, three, 400%. they're seeing their deductibles grow thousands of dollars. we didn't want to be political. we wanted to provide relief for people who are screaming for help and knowing that in five, six weeks, this thing starts. the earliest we could show we had a bill. and before the president acted most pundits were saying we're going to have as many 300 votes for this. that's pretty bipartisan. we won by more than 100 votes in a closely divided house. great credit to speaker boehner and cantor. they put pressure on the senate, let's send the signal now that if we can restore some of those policies, working with the state insurance commissioners across the country, maybe some of those folks who were denied that got that cancellation notice will say hey, we can keep our plan. that was the promise.
