it started in hartford county. it got into i-95 and then it starts back building into the city and when it hit the heat core that sits over the city, it really blew up impressabley so. it's going to be nasty here next couple of hours. let's get you into maryland's most powerful radar and give you the radar perspective. it comes in from the north and back builds, reaches down through dundock and extending further into the harbor itself in canton, etcetera. it will continue to push south, cross over the key bridge. and you could be in the southern edge of this storm, so it's an unusual pattern, but these summer storms, when they pop up, you could see the original or gin of the storm was up further north, but again that storm just sort of back filling inward. we'll continue to monitor this. if you are in the city, in points south of the city toward glenn bernie. you're going to see a lot of lightning and hail out of this storm and almost impossible trip up i-95 and 40 now as you go up north and east. real rough travel

the very heavy rain trekking through hartford county. this is now slowly making its way around -- across hertford county. the storm track star bellaire and heads through the upper chesapeake, may be making its way through the eastern shore of cecil county. this looks like a stronger storm cell itself, may be some strong wind associated. should be in the roswell -- roswell area by about 551. -- 5:51 p.m. heavy downpours in frederick county associated with this as well. it is still up in pennsylvania. so far, none of the rain has hit the rain gauge at the airport. so far, a dry day, but a hot one. last year was another triple digit day, 101 degrees for the record high on july 7, 2010. it has been hot this year, but not as hot as last year. the storms around here are not quite as strong as far as the wind goes, but they are putting out some locally heavy rain. that is why the flood warning is in effect a flood watch for tomorrow afternoon with more heavy storms coming in. the i-95up and down corridor with plenty of moisture in the atmospher
