for jobs in history, they want to hire the people that did a phd from harvard yale princeton, you know, sometimes a berkeley stanford slips and but so i've been all that as to say, i've been a big booster of the land grant schools like ohio state, i think they're great places purdue where you went, you know university of michigan minnesota, you know, i like a lot of those all of them. i was recently at university of arkansas fayetteville. great. because families can afford it. and you don't people grow at a different age. i mean, i was 17 when i was going to college growing up in rural, ohio. i didn't really have the tools to prepare for, you know to go to yale. you've got to like be driven for that or have contacts or you know, have you ever seen since you may come a professional on your in public forums and all that somebody discriminate against you because of ohio state georgetown versus the ivy leagues i think so on any. oh, yes anytime you do a job at a top market school. they look a little bit down even at georgetown compared to princeton harvard and yale, you know, it's just the way it is. i mean, it's there

one of only five woman in her class at stanford law, she served on the board of editors and graduated near the top of her class. she first attended harvard law school, one of nine woman in her class. she became the first female member while also caring for her husband who had been diagnosed with cancer and a young daughter. when her husband took a job in new york city, ginsberg graduated first in her class. despite the qualifications, they face barriers to employment after graduation as law firms were unwilling to hire women lawyers period they persevered and rose to prominence. o'connor became deputy attorney in california. when her husband was stated in journey, she was a civilian attorney. 1957 they settled in arizona or the race their three sons. in 1969, o'connor was promoted to the state senate where she was twice elected and became the first majority leader in any state. 1974 she was elected as a trial judge. she held that position until 1979 when she was appointed to the area court of appeals. the senate unanimously confirmed her appointment. in her nearly 25 years on the court, justice o'connor established yourself as a voice. o
