only two survived. 31-year-old haso hasanovic is one of them. at the time of the tragedy, he was only 15. >> translator: they were all shot in front of this wall. after the armed group killed about 30 people, they made male villagers carry the bodies away. after that, it was their turn to get killed. this continued for what seemed like an eternity. i cannot get closer. >> reporter: when he thought it was his turn to die, a serbian soldier ordered him to fetch water, s to a well. >> translator: a girl whose throat had been slashed by the armed group was lying near the well, dying. i didn't want to die like that. i decided to run, even if i might get shot. >> reporter: serbian soldiers fired at him as he run, but he managed to escape. but his father was caught by a militant and never returned to his family. hasanovic lives with his wife two children and mother in srebrenica. after the massacre, his life returned to normal, but he's now once again wounded by painful memories. it started in late may when he heard about a serbian armed group commande
