it would have been natural to buy shares in mattel or hasbro., i'm not asking the kids to know what it means to own shares in a company in terms of price, earnings, multiple, or even earnings. i'm simply saying it's a way to teach kids that a company can be owned by the public, and you can own a share in that company, too. they know toys. of course, the irony should not be lost on my family. can you imagine if my father had bought shares in a nice dividend stock for me three m rather than national video? we had a box of cheerios on our breakfast table every day of our lives. we could have bought general mills. what a fantastic stock. and then there were the really easy ones. what kid doesn't want to go to disney world? it's that factor and not how many people sign up for the streaming service. that will always drive me back to the stock. the disney library alone should be enough to make you want to own shares in the company. but the theme park? i mean, come on, let's not outthink this game. i don't know about johnson and johnson's band-aids and

so we're going to start off with shares of hasbro on the earnings front up just about maybe 2.5% or soed a new strategic plan that calls for average revenue growth in the mid single digits each year through the year 2027. so all that, on balance, leads to a 2.5% gain. turning now to shares of shake shack up by about roughly 8%, now 9.5% after posting better than expected results. now, you may recall that the upscale burger chain updated its guidance just a little over a month ago, which led to a bigger pullback. as you're kind of seeing over there over the last month. shake shack did give current quarter revenue guidance. that was somewhat disappointing, but the full year outlook was relatively in line to slightly better than consensus. total revenues are forecast to be around 1.45 to $1.48 billion for the year, and sales growth at established restaurant locations projected to be 3% higher than the full year in 2024. so shake shack shares up 9.5%, and we'll finish with wayfair. shares are sliding just about maybe 7.5% or so after the furniture and home goods retailer reported a worse t

i usually pronounce i'm with arkansas youth services and co-chair of hasbro.i just wanted to reiterate again how incredibly critical problem solving funds are particularly for transitional age youth who are being disproportionately impacted by the new restrictions. totally understand it's financial decision. so we're hoping that the board of supervisors with with ages ages partnership can find some funding to put back oh it's such an effective prevention tool. transitional aid youth 18 to 24 sometimes younger but 18 to 24 typically who are surviving off the streets typically don't have a lease in their name. so first or last month rent deposit is just in a they're either couchsurfing or staying with family where they're trying to pay rent. that's a lot of the resolutions and it's just such a stabilizing effective prevention tool. so they can stay where they are and we can work with them the providers can work with them to get employed, stabilized, get employed and then eventually be able to get a lease in their names. but they have to get to that point first.
