i think steve is a visiting hayden planetarium as a youngster which you can read about an introduction in the introduction to the book and mine was more of the apollo missions to the moon. what we really want to emphasize is you can spark these kids imaginations early in in their lives and it can lead to a career and an abdication as well as an interesting career and an exciting thing to do really. i think we both love going to work every day which is something that everybody can say. so here is a rough map of the eight places that we talk about in our book. they basically span from texas to southern california. we didn't cover mount wilson in los angeles. we cut it off at palomar san diego and some other great places that are also in california like lucas of oratory and big where -- big bear but we picked these out basically because they are a natural bunch of something we can imagine that you could visit in a matter of about a week if you really wanted to do it right and tried to these places one or two per day. you can do it in about a weeks timeframe. why would you buy this book? y
