. >> hello good afternoon, again, i'm hayden miller chair of housing, recreation and transit and the representative for district 5. really excited present our bpp's today this . year the committee continued our work advocating for free muni for all youth, which we are gracious to the supervisors and the mayor for and the sfmta for helping implement that program. we worked on issues related youth house and homelessness and access to our city's love low park and open spaces which have shined throughout the pandemic. so -- one of the first budget and policy items that i'm presenting today is making transportation services accessible and reliable for youth. you know, youth overwhelmingly rely on muveno get to school. 60% of high schoolers take mount tow get to school every day. they depends on the lines to be on time, not over crowded and to have the lines running. so, currently, the sfmta has restored many of the lines after the pandemic. but several lines such as the 10 towns end the 47 van ness. 28r, 19th and others remain suspended. and some of the lines serve young people of for exa
