they're going down hayes street.to all the people wearing costumes in the race, you can see some of the spectators also have some pretty creative costumes out here. along with this atmosphere and celebration, there is also a security presence out here. over the crowd, you can see there are some san francisco police officers. race organizers tell us, they have increased police presence out here this year. one of the things the officers are going to be looking for is anyone with alcohol. anyone drinking along the race route. alcohol is not permitted in this year's race, neither are floats. those in this neighborhood complained about problems with public drunkenness. this is a very residential neighborhood. there are people out here watching the race from their windows. even from the fourth or fifth floor of that tower next to us, there are people watching everything going on. this year, race organizers have enlisted the help of people who live around here. they have 25 neighborhood volunteers to keep an eye out, to rep
