the information we did find out we got from hayward police scanner and we are working to confirm it., this happened after midnight overnight here, a resident on barry avenue here in hayward called police to report a home invasion robbery. once officers arrived on scene, they saw a vehicle leaving with what appeared to be four suspects inside. now, officers later located the vehicle and that's when the driver tried to get away. the car later crashed about half a mile from where we are here at the police station at the intersection of myrtle street and whitton avenue. officers talked to the two women inside the vehicle. they claim they were not only carjacked but kidnapped by the two male suspects. those two male suspects were also said to be the ones that committed the home invasion robbery at barry avenue address. now, once again, we have reached out to hayward police several times, hopefully within the next hour or so they will get back to us and contact us to get information so we can confirm the information we gave to you. as soon as we find that out, we will pass it along to you.
