this is just outside our studios in downtown san francisco live in hd. soggy conditions and light rains falling. it's kind of foggy as well with our mild temperatures and all the moisture. tough to see the bay bridge in the background. and we're also looking at a really wet day throughout the area. live doppler indicates that as well. most of the rain is widespread, light to moderate rain throughout the entire bay area. some heavy downpours right now in santa rosa. also seen heavy downpours in the east portion of the oakland hills and then moving off towards 580. also san jose now getting a little light rain and the snow has turned moderate at blue canyon at 5,000 feet. so although the storm system appears mild, but they're in low to mid-50s today. gets colder as it heads over the sierra. the next storm system coming in tonight through early tomorrow and then gusty winds. the storm track all the way back to the hawaiian islands. we're watching this cold system. you can see as this moves south and then east, that will lower snow levels down to about 3 to
