it's a heartbreaking, heavy and sad day here in jacksonville. jacksonville sheriff, tk waters, confirmed that three people were shot and killed, the suspect also believed to have turned the gun on himself. the sheriff has called this a racially motivated shooting, saying, and you heard it in that sound bite right there, plainly put, that he hated black people, he wanted to kill black people, and that was the specific group, the community, that he had targeted. so police are still investigating here. this all happened a little bit earlier this evening. it was right around 1:00, early in the afternoon, our time here. i actually live just a few minutes down the road and heard a lot of the police at that time. a neighbour had told me something was going on. so when i drove down here, you could literally see all the police, there were swat as well, all surrounding that dollar general, which was right next to a gas station. a big portion of that road, it's called kings road here, all of that was blocked off. but, again, that was around 1:00 or so, and
