and heather. now we have the cell that we were tracking it was a hurricane until just a couple minutes ago. was downgraded to a tropical storm the weakening has occurred. it was at a maximum sustained winds then at 70 miles an hour. only looking at a difference of 5 miles per hour and still stronger gusts. hurricane force winds are still expected there as far as the gusts go across eastern portions of hawaii and the big island. land fall comes the next couple hours possibly even sooner. it is slowing down at sea. we are looking at the movement toward the west at 10 miles per hour. moving quicker at 17 to 18 miles per hour. there's why we are looking at a later land fall. the center 50 miles south of hilo, hawaii. some of the rain bands already on shore. the amount of heavy rain we are expecting on some of the higher elevations. there are mountain peaks that are as high as 13,000 feet. they will be looking at runoffs possibility of mud slides and even land slides. if it makes landed fall later this
